Седьмого января 2007, когда Православная Россия будет отмечать Рождество, в Детройте стартует юбилейное 100-е Detroit Auto Show
Ииииээээхх …. Там будет на что посмотреть и попускать слюни …
Будем ждать.

Ford Motor Co. will unveil the Ford Interceptor concept at the North American International Auto Show next week. The Ford Interceptor was inspired by the big sedans that were synonymous with Ford in the 1960s. The concept features a manual six-speed gearbox mated to a Ford Racing 5.0-liter V-8 Crammer engine that delivers 400 horsepower. But in a nod to the future, the Interceptor is designed to run on E-85 ethanol. It is based on the rear-wheel-drive Mustang platform.

Ford's Lincoln MKR concept reveals the shape of things to come for Lincoln with its styling and new TwinForce V-6 engine.
The Jeep Trailhawk concept merges the design cues of a Wrangler and a Cherokee -- brute sophistication. It is built on the new 2007 Wrangler platform. It will be unveiled at next week's auto show.
The Chrysler Nassau concept is a luxury sedan designed to showcase the car's performance characteristics and points at what future vehicles might look like. It will be unveiled at next week's auto show.
Workers assemble the Buick Enclave display in the General Motors exhibit as preparations for the North American International Auto Show continue Tuesday in Detroit, Michigan. The show opens to the public on January 13.
Chevrolet will debut the HHR Premiere Edition at the 2007 North American International Auto Show in Detroit next week. The HHR Premiere Edition features 17-inch black chrome wheels, black chrome exterior package, a special Cappuccino Frost Metallic exterior color and a special Ebony/Gray two-tone interior. The HHR Premiere Edition will begin production early in the first quarter of 2007.

The next generation 2008 Chevrolet Malibu will be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit next week. The new Malibu features a dual-port grille that represents the пїўпѕЂпѕњnew face of Chevrolet.пїўпѕЂпѕќ The mid-size Malibu will have a more upscale look and feature more premium materials. GM will invest $208 million in its Fairfax, Kansas assembly plant to prepare for the production of the Malibu.
The 2008 Chevy Malibu will offer a variety of progressive interiors featuring premium materials that elevate the car to a new level of refinement in the mid-size car segment.
The 2007 Chevy Silverado is a finalist for the North American Truck of the Year.
General Motors Vice President for Global Design Ed Welburn (left), and GM Vice Chairman Global Product Development Bob Lutz provide a sneak peek at the all-new 2008 Cadillac CTS, which will be fully revealed at DetroitпїўпѕЂпѕ™s North American International Auto Show next week. The performance luxury sedan is scheduled to begin production in late-summer of 2007, with worldwide sales to follow in the fall.

Из тех фоток что здесь есть, новинки от GM разочаровали. HHR ужасен. Впрочем, Airstream от Форда тоже... гм...
Порадовал Нассау от Хруслера и все остальные новинки от Форд/Линкольн...
